[Grade 1] Week 1 Day 1: Sun clock and Ice Cream Cone Relay Race

 

Welcome to Week 1 Grade 1 Summer School! We made name tags for our desk and cubbies this morning. 

We also worked hard to make sun clocks to read the time with the sun. Students decorated paper plates and cup and assembled the clock using a straw!

For our PE activity we did some stretching exercise before we enjoyed playing Ice Cream Cone relay race in the gym. We worked in teams of 6 to pass the "ice cream" to our team mates.

We also took some time in our day to sing Hickory Dickory Dock and reflect on what we liked best about today.
