Hello, Adventurers!
We kicked off the first day of summer school by getting cozy in our new room, with our new toys and friends. Immediately we were immersed in make believe! We sat around the camp fire, and got an idea to make fish to roast on sticks. We also added animals and flowers around the classroom.
We learned about animals we might see when we're camping from a storybook. We dove deeper through an animal sound quiz and a safe or dangerous animal game. Then we tried to be risk takers and made animal figures out of pottery clay. It was a new experience, but hopefully they'll come out nicely once we bake them in the oven!
