Summer School Week 1 – Day 4
サマースクールWeek 1の最終日は、笑顔いっぱいで楽しい思い出にあふれた一日となりました。
一日の始まりは、Human Knotでアイスブレイクを行いました。友達と協力しながら絡まった手をほどいていくゲームでは、「こっちをくぐってみよう！」「もう少し右！」と自然に声を掛け合い、笑顔と笑い声が絶えませんでした。チームワークの大切さを感じながら、最後にはみんなで達成感を味わうことができました。
その後は、Stained Glass制作に取り組みました。午前中はボンドを使って思い思いのデザインを描き、午後にはカラフルな色を加えて仕上げました。乾いたボンドが美しい模様を引き立て、一人ひとりの個性が光る素敵な作品が完成しました。光に透かすと色鮮やかに輝く作品に、子どもたちも嬉しそうな表情を見せていました。
また、紙と段ボールを使ってオリジナルのコマ作りにも挑戦しました。模様や形を工夫しながら世界に一つだけのコマを作り、完成後は友達と回して遊びながら楽しんでいました。「どっちが長く回るかな？」と夢中になって遊ぶ姿がとても印象的でした。
あっという間の4日間でしたが、子どもたちは新しいことに挑戦し、友達と協力しながらたくさんの素敵な思い出を作ることができました。
Summer School Week 1にご参加いただいた皆様、本当にありがとうございました。子どもたちの笑顔や「できた！」という喜びの瞬間をたくさん見ることができ、私たちスタッフにとっても素晴らしい4日間となりました。今後も子どもたちの「やってみたい！」という気持ちを大切にしながら、楽しく学べる活動を提供していきたいと思います。
Summer School Week 1 – Day 4
The final day of Summer School Week 1 was filled with laughter, teamwork, and wonderful memories as we celebrated an exciting week together.
We began the day with Human Knot, a fun icebreaker that encouraged students to communicate and work together. As they untangled themselves by listening, planning, and helping one another, the classroom was filled with laughter, encouragement, and plenty of smiles. It was a fantastic way to strengthen teamwork and start the day with positive energy.
Next, students created beautiful Stained Glass artwork. In the morning, they carefully drew their designs using glue, and in the afternoon, they brought them to life by adding vibrant colors. The finished pieces looked stunning as the light shone through them, with each artwork reflecting the unique creativity and imagination of its creator.
Students also designed and built their own spinning tops using paper and cardboard. After decorating their creations, they enjoyed testing them with friends, comparing how long they could spin and cheering each other on. It was wonderful to see so much excitement over such simple, creative materials.
The four days flew by, and it has been amazing to watch students challenge themselves, make new friends, and grow in confidence through each activity.
