For our final day of summer school we learned the words: Sink and Float. We played a short game to guess which items would sink or float.
Then we started to work on our boats with the materials students brought from home. Student decorated with markers, and made sails out of chopsticks and colored paper. Thank you to all our parents again who prepared these materials at home!
For our PE activity we did some stretches to warm up and played a game called Eagles and Seahawks.
In the afternoon we tested our boats in the pool. We found out if the caps were facing the back they would not flip over.
During dismissal we also sang happy birthday to two of our friends who will celebrate their birthday tomorrow. We hope you will have a great birthday!
