Week 2 Day 4 Thursday

 Hello, Adventurers!

This morning center time, our imaginations took us on an underwater adventure. We imagined we were swimming in the sea. We checked a book for the names of the sea creatures that swam past us.

We had great weather today, so we had water play. We had fun with sprinklers, sponges, water balloons and bubbles. We played with the Dolphin class for the first time, so we remembered to be caring older brothers and sisters to our younger friends.

We made suncatchers. Some friends asked, "What's a suncatcher?" We guessed what it was from its name - it must be something that catches the sun's light! We experimented with colors and form by layering cellophane. Then we made a frame with tree branches, so we can hang our suncatchers by a window at home.

To end the busy day in a calm way, we turned down the lights. We played a game about shadows, and we passed the flashlight around to make up a scary (or really, silly) group story.

We can't believe that tomorrow is our last day together. Let's make the most of it! See you.
