Hello, Adventurers!
Time flew and it was suddenly Friday! We spent today wrapping up the activities we had worked on all week.
We painted the clay animals that we had sculpted on the first day. We made them colorful and ready to come home with us.
We glued our group photo on the framed painting that we made. We were sad that one of our friends was absent when we took the photo, so we drew him in!
The weather wasn't on our side, but we found a way to have fun inside. We played walkie talkie hide and seek. We took turns hiding in groups, and the seekers tried to guess where in Horizon we were by asking yes or no questions over the walkie talkie.
The whole day we were asking, "Is it time to eat the popsicles?" and "Where are the popsicles?" But we were reflective and decided to have them after lunch recess, so we could eat all our lunch. The sweet treats were definitely worth the wait, and enjoying them was the perfect way to end the day.
We had to say goodbye to some friends today, but we'll always be together in our happy memories!
Thank you for joining us this first week. See you next week for more adventures!
