Summer School Week 2 – Day 5
Summer School Week 2の最終日は、たくさんの笑顔と達成感に包まれた、思い出に残る一日となりました。
まずはウォーミングアップとして、割り箸で豆を運ぶリレーに挑戦しました。チームのみんなで声を掛け合いながら、慎重に豆を運び、スピードと集中力を競いました。思わず豆を落としてしまう場面では笑い声があふれ、楽しいスタートとなりました。
続いて、Jellyfish Craftでは、色とりどりの材料を使ってカラフルなクラゲを制作しました。それぞれが好きな色を組み合わせ、世界に一つだけの個性あふれる作品が完成しました。完成したクラゲを友達と見せ合いながら、お互いの工夫を楽しむ姿が見られました。
その後は、大人気のBalloon Slime作りに挑戦しました。完成したスライムを膨らませ、「誰が一番大きくできるかな？」とみんなで楽しく競争しました。少しずつコツをつかみながら何度も挑戦し、教室は驚きと歓声、そして笑顔でいっぱいになりました。
PEでは、月曜日にも大盛り上がりだったBall Fightをもう一度楽しみました。チームで作戦を立てながら全力で体を動かし、最後まで仲間を応援する姿がとても印象的でした。
午後には、PEとARTの表彰式を行いました。一人ひとりがそれぞれの頑張りを認められ、メダルを受け取ると、とても嬉しそうな表情を見せていました。友達同士で拍手を送り合い、お互いの努力を称え合う温かい時間となりました。
あっという間の5日間でしたが、子どもたちはさまざまな活動を通して、新しいことに挑戦し、友達と協力しながら多くの思い出を作ることができました。
Summer School Week 2にご参加いただいた皆様、本当にありがとうございました。毎日笑顔で登校し、さまざまなことに挑戦する子どもたちの姿に、私たちスタッフもたくさんの元気をもらいました。このサマースクールでの経験が、子どもたちにとって楽しい夏の思い出となれば幸いです。ご家庭での温かいご協力とご支援に心より感謝申し上げます。
Summer School Week 2 – Day 5
The final day of Summer School Week 2 was filled with laughter, celebration, and wonderful memories as we wrapped up another fantastic week together.
We started the day with a fun warm-up activity—a Bean Relay using chopsticks! Students carefully carried beans from one place to another while cheering on their teammates. It was a great way to build concentration and teamwork, and there was plenty of laughter whenever a bean slipped away.
Next, students created colorful Jellyfish Crafts. Using a variety of bright materials, they designed vibrant jellyfish, each one unique and full of personality. It was wonderful to see students proudly sharing their finished creations with their friends.
Students then enjoyed making Balloon Slime, one of the day's biggest highlights. After creating their slime, everyone eagerly competed to see who could blow the biggest slime bubble. The classroom was filled with excitement as students experimented with different techniques, celebrated their successes, and encouraged one another.
During P.E., students were thrilled to play Ball Fight once again—a favorite game from earlier in the week. Working together as teams, they demonstrated great sportsmanship, communication, and enthusiasm while enjoying some friendly competition.
In the afternoon, we held our P.E. and Art Awards Ceremony. Every student received a medal recognizing their effort, participation, and achievements throughout the week. Seeing the smiles on their faces as they received their awards and applauded one another was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of Summer School.
The five days passed so quickly, and it has been a joy to watch our students grow in confidence, creativity, teamwork, and curiosity through so many exciting activities.
Finally, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our students and families for being part of Summer School Week 2. Your enthusiasm, support, and willingness to join in every activity made this week truly special. We hope your children leave with wonderful memories, new friendships, and a sense of pride in everything they accomplished.
