Today, we started by talking about the season and the weather. Then, students learned about anemometers, the tools used to measure wind speed.
After that, everyone made their own anemometer and tested it outside. They discovered that the stronger the wind, the faster it spun, and that it also spun differently depending on where the wind was blowing. The students were excited to experiment and shared many smiles as they explored.
3日目の今日は、季節や天気のいい方の確認をした後、風を測る風力測定器について学びました。そして、風力測定器づくりを行い、実際の風で回り方を試しました。強い風でどんどん早く回ることや、風が当たる場所によって回り方が変わることを見つけて、子どもたちは笑顔で取り組んでいました。
We also had fun wearing our completed robotic hands and dancing together!
また、完成したロボティックハンドを装着してダンスも楽しみました。
During PE, we played Flag Game, where teams work together to capture the other team's flag. The students quickly realized that teamwork and strategy are much more important than trying to do everything alone. We also played the always-popular Don Rock-Paper-Scissors, and everyone had a great time.
Reminder for Tomorrow
Tomorrow we will visit the Sendai Science Museum. Please have your child arrive at school at the usual time. We will leave at 9:00 a.m. and return to school before lunchtime.
Please note that there will not be time for a morning snack, so there is no need to bring one.

PEでは、今日はフラグゲームを行いました。相手の旗をとるゲームですが、一人で責めてもうまくいきません。チームの協力と戦略が必須のゲームです。大人気のドンじゃんけんも行いました。
明日は科学館に校外学習に行きます。通常通りに登校して、９時に出発します。お昼には学校に戻ります。スナックを食べる時間だけありませんのでご注意ください。
